Halcyon Court

Halcyon Court sits on a sloping site that most contractors priced around rather than into. Our civil and building teams worked the hill instead: a stepped retaining strategy cut the volume of imported fill by a third and gave each terrace a level, private garden without artificial podiums.

The development is organised as four blocks of four units, built in a rolling sequence so that finishing trades follow the structure around the site without idle weeks. At the time of writing, all four blocks are in superstructure and the first is being closed in.

Handover is programmed in phases, with the first residents due to take possession ahead of the contractual date. The standard the first block sets — in setting-out, in finish, in the discipline of the site itself — is the standard the remaining three will be held to.
